Gearing Back Up

After taking last week mostly off; I ran once, biked once, and swam twice.  I’m still not sure what the rest of my season is going to be look (probably shorter races) but it’s time to pick the volume back up with training this week, and I had a couple of really good workouts.

I had a 3,000 yard swim where I was averaging 1:35 per 100 yards the entire workout, and I just finished some intervals at the track where I was able to hold 6:00 min/mile for all my intervals. It’s good see that my body has bounced back after the race but it’s frustrating to know I had better swimming and biking fitness then what showed up on race day.
